Whether it's a quick trip for a coffee, a trip through the new drive-thrus, a new place to study or a spot to hangout and catch up with old friends, Starbucks has provided the environment for students as well as others to do just those things. Starbucks has multiple on-campus locations. "I love Starbucks because it is a convenient location (the MU). My favorite summer drink is the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and my favorite winter drink is White Hot Chocolate," Hope Lehman said.

Dutch Bros. Coffee is a newer chain around the Valley whose business has been booming from day one. They are opening more shops around the Valley and are known for their lower prices, Two Stamp Tuesday's, Dollar off days, a variety of drinks and the famous order: a large drink and pay the price of a medium drink. Dutch Bros. is a small stand with a drive-thru and walk-up window. The staff is friendly and they always have a smile on their face. With a younger staff, Dutch Bros. appeals to college students and it helps that they have a location on campus! Justin Shumate said, "I like Dutch Bros. coffee because it tastes good."

When you think of The Coffee Bean, you wouldn't think of college students, mainly due to the fact that you find them in airports and malls. Surprisingly it is a popular spot among students at ASU. The Coffee Bean has expanded with free standing shops and can be found all over the Valley. "I like going to the Coffee Bean because it is different from other coffee shops and you can enjoy different drinks that you can't always get at other coffee shops," Bethany York said.

Xtreme Bean is an older shop in Tempe but because of its hip look and free spirited environment it is a popular shop among the younger generation. Xtreme Bean doesn't have as many locations as some of the other shops but at the end of the day it is definitely worth the trek to experience something new. "Xtreme Bean is one of my favorites because of the different environment," Mandy Wilbourn said.
